The Administration of the Polytechnic is vested in the GOVERNING COUNCIL consisting of eleven members. Of these, the chairman and four others are nominees of the parent body. The Mysore Technical Education Society : two are nominees of the Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Karanataka: two are nominees of All India Council for Technical Education and one nominee representing Industry and the Principal MEIP serving as Member Secretary.

It is an honour to serve as President of the Mysore Technical Education Society and Chairman of the Governing Council. Building on our strong legacy, MEI Polytechnic remains committed to delivering industry-relevant, practice-oriented engineering education that prepares students for the challenges of tomorrow. We are pleased to announce the introduction of Diploma programs in Cloud Computing in the year 2025-26 and Cyber Security from this academic year 2026-27 —designed to equip students with in-demand skills through hands-on training, real-world projects, internships, and strong industry exposure.

To uphold the highest standards, we will adopt and promote industry best practices: continuous faculty development, regular industry advisory inputs, outcome-focused assessment, robust quality assurance mechanisms, and ethical, transparent governance. Our aim is to nurture competent, responsible professionals with strong character and the technical expertise required by industry and society.
